Who We Are
Comtac was built on a simple premise: self-defense training is only as good as the person teaching it, and the credentials behind that person should be verifiable, not assumed. Based in Vilnius and operating across Europe, we deliver close-quarters combat and self-defense training for individuals, security professionals, and increasingly for organizations whose staff face physical risk as a routine part of their job: aviation crew, rail personnel, and maritime staff among them.
We are not a fitness brand that added a self-defense module. Our instructors hold state-issued licenses to operate in this field and government permits to work with firearms, and have spent over a decade building training programmes for people who need these skills to actually work not just look convincing on a mat.
Our Instructors
Every course we deliver – from individual self-defense training to institutional aviation, rail, and maritime programmes is led by instructors holding state-issued licenses and government permits to operate in this field, including certification to work with firearms and to train licensed security personnel. This isn’t a credential we assert; it’s one you can verify.
What We Teach
Our combat self-defense curriculum covers standing combat, combat wrestling, ground combat, and technique-specific training across knives, sticks, and firearms, all adapted to solve situations that can realistically occur in everyday life, not choreographed demonstrations. This same foundation is what we adapt for specialized institutional clients: the confined-space techniques we deliver to aviation, rail, and maritime crew are built on the same verified methodology we teach every individual client who walks through our doors in Vilnius.
Where We Train
Training is conducted at our facility in Vilnius, or on location at a client’s premises anywhere in Europe or internationally. For institutional clients, this means we come to your training centre, crew base, depot, or port, rather than requiring your people to travel to us.

Comtac operates alongside a family of specialized programmes under the same instructor team:
