Knife Fighting Courses
A knife is not a self-defense tool – it’s a weapon, designed to cut, stab, and injure. Defending against a knife empty-handed is extremely difficult and carries real risk; anyone who suggests otherwise is not being honest about the danger involved.
Why This Training Exists
Knife defense training isn’t about encouraging confrontation – it’s about giving you an honest, realistic understanding of what a knife threat actually involves, and the physical and psychological preparation to respond if avoidance genuinely isn’t possible. Real training means confronting how dangerous these situations are, not minimizing the risk to make the training feel more comfortable.
Running Is Always the First Answer
The most effective defense against a knife is distance – creating it, and using it to leave. A fight avoided is a fight won, every time, without exception. Training exists for the situations where distance and escape genuinely aren’t an option, not as a substitute for choosing them whenever you can.
In a real knife-on-knife confrontation, there is no clean outcome – both sides are likely to be seriously hurt, regardless of skill or who “wins.” That reality is exactly why avoidance always comes first.
Training Format
We conduct full-contact knife defense training, covering both unarmed defense and knife-on-knife scenarios. Courses are available for civilians focused on defensive awareness, as well as for officers and military personnel with combat-specific requirements. Every course begins with the same principle: psychological clarity and realistic risk awareness come before any physical technique.
